Arranging A Funeral
Arranging A Funeral
Arranging a funeral is a step by step process, made easier with the help of an experienced funeral director. The experienced Funeral Directors at Heaven’s Own specialise in relieving you and your family of the burden of organising a funeral.
When Death Occurs
When somebody dear to us passes away the first thing we must do is to notify their doctor. In order for funeral arrangements to proceed, a medical cause of death certificate must be issued. If for any reason a certificate cannot be issued then the body must be transported to the Coroner for an examination. The next step is to call our 24 hour assistance line on 02 9002 7344 to make funeral arrangements.
Once contact has been made to our staff, funeral arrangements will commence. Our team will organise the delicate transportation of your loved one into our care as soon as possible. After this is organised, we will schedule a time for our Funeral Consultant to visit you in the comfort of your home, or a location convenient for you to arrange the funeral.
Our Funeral Consultant will organise with you all that is required for the funeral. This include:
– Service Details
– Choice of Coffin
– Purchase of a grave
– Clergy or Celebrant
On the day of the funeral our staff will be present from beginning to end to ensure that everythings goes as planned. They will assist and guide all attending the funeral as well as provide comfort and support to you and your loved ones.
At Heaven’s Own our support does not stop at the end of the funeral. We are always available to assist those in need at any time. If there is any way that we can assist you after the funeral we are more than happy to do so. There are many issues that arise after a funeral that may require professional assistance, such as:
– Purchase of a headstone for a grave
– Purchase of an urn or niche for a loved one’s ashes
– Assistance with the issue of death certificates.
Our friendly staff are available 24 hours, 7 days a week to assist you with any enquiries on 02 9002 7344
